How do I search by title? (Return to top)

Go to 'find a book' in the main menu. Enter a complete title or part or a title:-

Eg, book title = 'The Economics of Public Private Partnerships'

Search by: 'Public Privat'; 'Partnerships'; 'The Economics of Public'
or
Search by: 'The Economics of Public Private Partnerships'



I can't find the title I am looking for? (Return to top)

Our online catalogue only includes titles published (still in print) and in production. If you are unable to find a title online please email sales@e-elgar.co.uk or telephone us (+ 44 1242 226934) and we will be happy to help you.



How do I search by author/editor? (Return to top)

You can search by surname or surname and initial

Eg. Blaug

Or Blaug, M (please include surname, comma (,) space and initial)



How do I search by ISBNs? (Return to top)

Our ISBNs are stored in the following format:-
(please make sure you include the spaces)

(For 10 digit ISBNs) – books published pre 2005 - 1 23456 789 0

and

(For 13 digit ISBNs) – books published post 2006 - 978 1 23456 789 0



How do I search using keywords? (Return to top)

Type in the word/s you wish to find books on or related to. The results will bring up titles which include the word/s in the titles, description and table of contents.

Eg. Water

Results will bring up all books with water in the title or in the description or if there is a chapter on water in the contents.



How do I search by year of publication? (Return to top)

If you know the year of publication please enter the year. If you do not specify this then all available books will be included in your search.



How do I search for books in a series? (Return to top)

Many of our books are in a series. Scroll down the list to find the series you are interested in.



How do I search for a particular subject area? (Return to top)

We have categorised our books by subject areas. Scroll down the list to find the area you are interested in. You can also visit our separate subject sites (see links on lefthandside).



How do I search for titles on inspection/examination? (Return to top)

Scroll to 'YES'. These books are offered on an inspection/examination basis for relevant courses.



How do I search for new titles? (Return to top)

Scroll to 'YES'. New titles will include all books published over the last 3 months.
